The conference is organized by the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University Olomouc. The department focuses its teaching and research activities on languages, cultures, and societies of contemporary China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Vietnam. It offers degree courses on undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level.
