The 20th Annual Conference on Asian Studies dealing with the theme Denial, Exclusion, Absence: Exploring the Negative Space in Asia will take place on November 20–21, 2026 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. The conference is organized by the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University Olomouc.

Since the 14th edition of the conference, we always issue an open Call for Chapters after the conference and thereby offer the participants an opportunity to submit their paper for consideration to have it published as part of an Open Access and Print on Demand edited monograph published in the Olomouc Asian Studies (OLAS) series by Palacký University Press.
