The 18th Annual Conference on Asian Studies: Asian Temporalities: Chronologies, Seasons, Tenses will take place on November 22–23, 2024 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. The conference is organized by the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University Olomouc. The Call for Papers is available here. The abstract submission deadline is set for June 30, 2024.
The program of the conference will be announced in October after the registration closes. All sessions will be streamed via Zoom so that audience can join for free from anywhere in the world. The registration for audience members will open once the program is announced. The link to the registration form will be available here.
Since the 14th edition of the conference, we always issue an open Call for Chapters after the conference and thereby offer the participants an opportunity to submit their paper for consideration to have it published as part of an Open Access (and Print on Demand) edited monograph published in the Olomouc Asian Studies (OLAS) series by Palacký University Press. Currently, the Call for Chapters for an edited volume which is in part based on the contributions presented at the 17th edition of the conference is open and you can check it out here.
